Perhaps best known for their innovative water dispensers, ice makers and water filtration products, GHP has evolved into a diversified home products company with a comprehensive distribution and service network across North America. Greenway’s heat product lineup distributed under the Muskoka and Greenway name encompass electric fireplaces, electric stoves and fireplace accessories.
We were hired to completely redesign their site and online store. Starting with a revised information architecture to better showcase their products, we introduced buying guides and a "similar products" area to help users make better buying decisions. We also built a dealer locator so clients could find the closest locations to purchase products and parts.
The entire backend was built using Expression Engine. We built a custom product catalogue that allows GHP administrators to tag add/edit product entries and also allows them to tag related product entries. The online store was built using Zen Cart and seamlessly integrated into the rest of the site. There are two different versions of the store, serving both the US and Canadian markets.
Clients can also create a profile on the site and complete their warrany registrations.
